रायगडा जिले के बिस्सम कटक गाँव में स्थित माँ मरकाम मंदिर पर्यटकों की रुचि का एक स्थान है। यह भारत के ओडिशा राज्य में देवी माँ मरकाम और माँ करकामा का एकमात्र मंदिर (शक्तिपीठ) है। माँ करकामा (माँ मरकाम की बहन मानी जाती है) का मंदिर माँ मरकाम के मंदिर के बगल में स्थित है। किंवदंती कहती है कि देवी की पूजा सदियों से की जा रही है। हालांकि, हाल ही में मंदिर का निर्माण किया गया था। एक जूनियर कॉलेज और बिस्सम कटक में एक विश्वविद्यालय कॉलेज का नाम माँ मरकाम के लिए रखा गया है। मंदिर रायगढ़ जिले में पर्यटकों के आकर्षण के स्थानों में से एक है। मंदिर में हर साल दशहरा और चैत्र पर्व मनाया जाता है। निकटतम रेल प्रमुख चिटिकोना है, जो बिस्सम कटक से 7 किमी (4.34 मील) दूर है।

Located in Bissam Cuttack village of Rayagada district, Maa Markam Temple is a tourist attraction. It is the only pilgrimage site (Shakti Sthal) in the state of Odisha, India by Mother Goddess Markam and Mother Karakama. The Mother Karakama Temple (considered to be the sister of Mother Markam) is located next to the Mother Markam Temple. Legend has it that the goddess has been worshiped for centuries. However, the temple was recently built. A small college and college college in Bissam Cuttack was named Maa Marakama. The temple is one of the attractions of the Raigada region. Dussehra and Chaitra festival are celebrated every year in the temple. The nearest railroad is Chatikona, 7 km (4.34 mi) from Bissam Cuttack.
